One of america’s most established and honored provider of WSET certification
Grape Experience Wine & Spirit School’s mission is to provide the highest-quality education for the wine and spirit industry—retailers, wholesalers, importers, winemakers, sommeliers, restaurateurs, and other hospitality professionals—as well as to offer enriching and engaging courses to everyday wine and spirit enthusiasts.
They offer all four levels of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust’s (WSET) wine, spirit, and sake certification courses online in the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa, and Greater Boston regions. The school is part of a growing trend of WSET Affiliate wine schools offering wine certification programs through a network of other schools and their own. The secondary schools are often given a percentage of profits to allow Grape Experience to run their wine courses.
In 2012, WSET recognized the school as their Wine Educator of the Year. Their programs are designed to be flexible and meet the needs of working professionals, with course formats ranging from once-a-week evening classes to intensive weekend sessions. We also regularly work with corporate and hospitality partners to tailor wine and spirits training for their staff, providing on-the-job educational experiences, and enhancing their company’s profile.
Absolutely fantastic experience with Adam Chase. While I’m still in the middle of taking the WSET3, the enthusiasm and professionalism of Adam shines through, be it in-class or a transition to Zoom, since we are in the midst of Covid-19. Adam is an amazing teacher – full of facts and and has an easy way to break down the concepts of wine theory and tasting, to make it both fun and educational. I look forward to getting back together in-person, so we can taste all the great wine he has been teaching us about!smegalandtootsie s. (YELP)

The people are great. It’s WSET, so you know what you are getting. Personally, I love the no-nonsense approach. I would sing this school for it’s organizational failings. Seems like they are bigger than WSET itself, and it seems they are having growing pains.
I love WSET programs, but this was just too stuffy for me.
